Time + Tide Safaris has unveiled the new look of its seasonal camp, Time + Tide Chongwe Camp, situated in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi.
Set on the confluence of two rivers in the Lower Zambezi, Time + Tide Chongwe stretches across 4,000km² of land. In-keeping with the design of all Time + Tide properties, the newly redesigned camp has been inspired by a diverse range of natural habitats. From peaceful riverbanks and nearby woodlands, to the imposing mountain escarpment to the north, Time + Tide Chongwe Camp has been designed to mirror its unique location, whilst also showcasing its own character.
Dotted along the forested riverbanks, Time + Tide Chongwe comprises eight individually designed tents, each with en-suite bathrooms. Across the tent spaces, bright and vibrant fabrics define and unite cultures across Africa and, in celebration of Zambia, Chitenge fabric adds a splash of colour and warmth throughout, with each safari tent designed to be centred around a traditional, bold print.
The redesigned Chongwe Camp finds itself in close proximity to two neighbouring properties, Time + Tide Chongwe House and Time + Tide Chongwe Suites, hence guests can also choose to venture further afield, while still staying within Time + Tide Safaris territory.
