With 55 upcoming projects listed on Tophotelprojects’ database, hotel construction in Shanghai appears to be booming despite worries of how Coronavirus has impacted the industry.
Data shows that 11 of these projects are slated to open this year, ten in 2021, eight in 2022, and 21 in the years following this; collectively introducing a total of 12,579 additional rooms to the city.
