The winners of the inaugural AHEAD Americas programme were announced at Pérez Art Museum Miami on 28 June 2017, at a ceremony attended by leading hotel owners, developers, operators, architects and designers from across the region.

Hosted by Sleeper Editor at Large Guy Dittrich, the ceremony saw awards distributed to projects including Faena Hotel Miami Beach, 11 Howard and Arlo Hotel SoHo, across 14 categories such as Guestrooms, Landscaping & Outdoor Spaces, and Suite, amongst others.

The successful AHEAD Americas projects will now go on to compete at a global AHEAD biennale in 2018 to determine the global winners in each category.

The next AHEAD programme, AHEAD MEA, will take place on 15 November at W Al Habtoor City, Dubai, and will celebrate the best of hotel design and guest experience throughout the Middle East and Africa regions.
