Yays Antwerp Opera has opened its doors in the city’s Diamond District, marking the group’s fourth property.

Located in a former office building on the Frankrijklei, the 94-key aparthotel features protruding windows that give the structure a unique touch, while interiors take on an Art Nouveau style with a playful twist, reflecting the history of the neighbourhood through a series of authentic design details and furnishings.

The local character plays an important role at all Yays locations, and Antwerp was no different. In the lobby – or as Yays calls it ‘the home base’ – guests will find the Yays Neighbourhood Wall, featuring various tips and novelties from surrounding businesses, while the Yays Neighbourhood Guide provides inspiration about the often still unknown places. The group’s insiders will also offer guests tips and access to their local network.
