Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay has introduced Le Lodge, a private mountain retreat set within northern Morocco’s hinterland.
Located just 15 minutes from Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay, the secluded standalone chalet comprises two bedrooms, a spacious living area and a panoramic terrace overlooking Lake Smir and the surrounding mountains. Built using natural stone, wood and locally inspired materials, the property sits discreetly within the landscape.

Guests arrive via private transfer and are welcomed by a dedicated butler who remains on hand throughout the stay. Breakfast is served overlooking the mountains, while days can be spent beside the lake or exploring the surrounding countryside. Evenings centre around private dinners and uninterrupted views of the landscape. Dining at Le Lodge is centred around seasonal produce and local ingredients. Rather than a fixed menu, meals are tailored to guests’ preferences, drawing inspiration from traditional countryside cooking and regional flavours.
Also included within the experience is a guided hike through the protected landscapes surrounding Tamuda Bay, where Aleppo pine forests lead towards the waters of Lake Smir.
Combining the privacy of a mountain retreat with the facilities and service of the main hotel, Le Lodge offers a distinctive alternative to a traditional resort stay.
