Registration for brand-new design event Hotel & Resort Design South (HRDS) is now live. The event – launched by Elite Exhibitions, organisers of Cruise Ship Interiors – aims to connect architects, designers and the supply chain with luxury hotel and resort brands operating in South and Latin America markets. 

The inaugural event will take place on 6-7 June at Miami Beach Convention Center, and is set to explore topics surrounding culture and locality, eco-tourism and procurement processes across a series of thought-provoking keynotes and conference sessions.

In a conscious move away from the traditional exhibition model, the event will also feature a Product Showcase, where the latest products and materials – from suppliers including Akula Living, Brintons Carpets, Nanni USA, Interfloor and Molteni & C – will be on display. In addition, over 200 cross-sector design studios and interior suppliers will be exhibiting at the co-located Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Americas, allowing attendees to expand their network across to the cruise design industry.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to partake in a host of networking events, ranging from an opening party to Happy Hour drinks reception, as well as a selection of speed-networking sessions.
