Following a EU€20 million renovation, ME Marbella has opened its doors, marking the brand’s Andalusian debut.
Designed by Adriana and Álvaro Sans (ASAH Studio), the building is a tribute to the purest form of Mediterranean architecture, reimagined through a bold, avant-garde lens.
The interiors are characterised by organic shapes, clean lines and natural textures combined with a colour palette inspired by the ochres of the mountains, whitewashed lime and the blues of the sea.
The hotel comprises 200 guestrooms, including 24 suites, alongside the Oasis beach club featuring an indoor beach. Curated in partnership with Pont Hospitality, ME Marbella will present three distinct dining venues: La Terraza Del Med, offering a refined yet simple menu of locally sourced Mediterranean dishes; Solana, where fresh ingredients meet live flame in a warm, contemporary setting; and Barlume, a stylish yet relaxed spot blending creative cocktails with authentic Mediterranean cuisine.
“With the opening of ME Marbella, we celebrate the arrival of our most avant-garde brand in one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic destinations,” comments Gabriel Escarrer, CEO of Meliá Hotels International. “Marbella is undoubtedly one of the great jewels of luxury in Spain, and for ME by Meliá, launching in a location that so perfectly embodies contemporary luxury, social energy, and cultural connection is a strategic milestone.”
