Kaldewei provides bathroom solutions for Estrel Berlin

Kaldewei has supplied steel enamel bathroom products for Estrel Berlin’s refurbishment.

The Estrel Berlin is Germany’s biggest hotel, comprising 1,125 guestrooms and suites, four restaurants, three bars, a summer garden, wellness area and a gym.

Following the revamp, the hotel now features Kaldewei bathtubs, shower surfaces and washbasins in over 1,000 of its bathrooms, alongside Wall&decò’s WET system wallpaper.

The German manufacturer has furnished Estrel Berlin with Cayonoplan, Superplan and Superplan Plus shower surfaces, as well as Puro Duo bathtubs, some of which are fitted with Kaldewei Skin Touch and Sound Wave.

The Skin Touch feature delivers a naturally rejuvenating effect by infusing the water with millions of micro-sized air bubbles that disperse evenly through the tub like a delicate bath milk. Meanwhile, the Sound Wave bathtub audio system enables guests to immerse themselves in the resonant vibrations of their favourite music.

The hotel’s elegant and aesthetic bathroom interiors are complemented by 500 Kaldewei Puro undercounter washbasins. Mounted under a top, the washbasins are designed to sit flush with the surface, exposing only their interior and blending seamlessly with the top for maximised utility space.

“We are delighted that our high-end bathroom solutions are helping to make the Estrel Berlin a very special place for rest and regeneration,” says Managing Director Franz Kaldewei. “Kaldewei and Estrel are two brands that fit perfectly together and meet the highest standards.”

Made from steel enamel that combines robust steel and tough glass to form an inseparable bond, Kaldewei bathroom products show no signs of wear and tear, even after years of intensive use and cleaning. All of the brand’s innovations are also made entirely from natural materials, which means they are fully recyclable and ideal for sustainable hotels.
