AD Associates selected as architect for two Ritz-Carlton superyachts

London-based AD Associates has been selected as architect for two new superyachts from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection – Ilma and Luminara, which will join inaugural vessel Evrima launching this summer.

AD has collaborated with French shipyard Chantiers de l’Atlantique as well as lighting designer DPA and Finland-based yacht stylist Aivan, which has taken cues from private yachts to design the exterior profiles.

Inside, the superyachts feature the highest space ratios at sea, featuring 228 suites each with a private terrace. In addition, two new upper suite categories will comprise larger suites measuring up to 100m².

Complementing the accommodations are five restaurants, six bars and a wine vault, together with the signature spaces found on Evrima, included a marina with a new mezzanine feature and a Ritz-Carlton Spa.

“It’s a privilege to design interiors for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection,” says Chris Finch, founder and CEO of AD Associates. “Working closely with the brand, we are taking great care to learn more about the iconic touchpoints that The Ritz-Carlton is famous for, and ensure a successful transition onto the superyachts.”

With the highest staff-to-guest ratios in the luxury cruising sector, the superyachts will be delivered in 2024 and 2025, with reservations for the 2024 season open this autumn. Offering itineraries from seven to 10 nights in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, the all-inclusive vessels will also be available for private charter.
