Design Hotels and SPG join forces
Design Hotels and Starwood Preferred Guests have kicked off the second phase of their partnership that allows SPG members to earn Starpoints on every stay, and redeem them at participating Design Hotels.
In November 2015, Design Hotels joined forces with Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG), enabling its member hotels to have both a greater and more selective reach. Since November 2015, 32 of over 290 Design Hotels member hotels have joined SPG, producing over 2,500 bookings.
The coming weeks will see more than 30 additional hotels in the Starwood Preferred Guest pipeline go live. Design Hotels are now bookable through SPG.com, the SPG mobile app, and a global network of customer contact centres. Each month, additional Design Hotels properties will be joining Starwood Preferred Guest.
Benefits include two Starpoints per eligible US dollar spent, with three for Gold Preferred and Platinum Preferred Members, night and stay credit toward elite status, on-property benefits of internet access and bottled water, as well as Gold Preferred and Platinum Preferred Members automatically receiving a Starpoints bonus as welcome gift. Room upgrades and late check-out are also available.
