First Ikos Resorts property now open

Ikos Resorts has announced the official re-opening of Ikos Oceania, Halkidiki, Greece, the first of two new Ikos Resorts properties to open in 2015.

Ikos Oceania (formerly Oceania Club) will open its doors following the upgrading and expansion of the facilities and a full rebrand. The food and beverage additions include two new restaurants, Anaya and Provence, which enjoy stunning views across the new infinity pool.

Ikos Oceania’s dining areas have undergone renovations and refurbishments, as have the food and beverage offering. The Flavors buffet adult only zone has been newly created and the existing Greek restaurant has been refurbished, expanded and rebranded as Ouzo. The Italian restaurant has received a full makeover and rebrand as Fusco, whereas the Asian restaurant has been rebranded as Anaya.

The a la carte services have been upgraded to feature Michelin star chef menus, including new projects from Chefs at Work. A new wine list created by award winning sommelier Mr. Giannopoulos and new cocktail list provided by award winning Mixologist Mr Papadopoulos ensures that a comprehensive taste sensation will be available for wine connoisseurs and cocktail lovers alike. Refurbishments of the F&B offerings will continue until June.

The selection of leisure and activity offerings include a fully equipped sports centre, fitness studio and luxurious Anne Semonin Spa. In addition to this full upgrades have been implemented throughout the property to meet the discerning standards of guests. The heated outdoor pool has been fully refurbished, along with the beach area and deluxe pool areas which have been bedecked with new sunbeds and umbrella. Other activities include a 5×5 football pitch, new bikes with unlimited free rental, stand up paddle boarding and windsurfing.
