Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc has announced plans for a new villa, Villa Sainte-Anne, set to open in May 2021.

Built in the early 1900s as a private home, Villa Sainte-Anne joins Villa Eleana and Villa Les Cedres, further expanding the hotel’s accommodation offering.

Antoine Sella – the Italian hotelier who first purchased Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, then Villa Soliel in 1887 – also purchased Villa Sainte-Anne in 1916, before selling it on again in 1921. Nearly a century later, the property is back under Hotel du Cap’s ownership and will be ready for guests to check into after a two-year renovation next Spring.

As with the main hotel, Oetker Collection family member Countess Bergit Douglas will lead the interiors throughout the property.

Villa Sainte-Anne will comprise five en-suite bedrooms each complete with its own dressing room; a spa with sauna, steam, Hammam and gym; and living and dining areas spread across 3,700 square feet.

Behind the villa, the gardens conceal a private pool and an expansive shaded terrace which offers views across the bay of Juan-les-Pins.

Villa guests will benefit from VIP access to all of Hotel du Chap’s facilities including the saltwater rock pool, red clay tennis courts, exclusive use of a private seaside cabana, as well as two complimentary daily spa treatments and an excursion for four people onboard the Aquariva Super ‘Eden-Roc’.

The fully staffed villa comes with a dedicated butler on hand 24/7, while a chauffeur and car are also offered for up to five hours a day. A separate annex with a laundry room and luggage room will be available for guests travelling with their own staff.
