Marriott International has unveiled its selection of highly anticipated openings in 2026 across Europe, the Middle East and Africa:
W Riyadh – KAFD – Opening Q1

Located in King Abdullah Financial District, W Riyadh-KAFD will be a brand debut for W Hotels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will offer an urban escape in the vibrant capital. Set to feature 210 luxury guestrooms and suites, seven restaurants, retail space, expansive event and meeting facilities as well as the brand’s iconic Whatever/Whenever service, W Riyadh – KAFD will bring the brand’s bold design, innovative culinary experiences, and always-on programming to locals and international visitors alike, positioning the property to emerge as an icon of hospitality in Riyadh. Design plans for the property also include signature brand spaces. KAFD stands as the world’s largest LEED-certified mixed-use business destination, spanning 1.6 million square metres of luxury residences and hotels, office spaces, retail outlets, and entertainment and cultural venues. From its sustainable design and eco-friendly operations to smart infrastructure and LEED-certified buildings, KAFD epitomises the core values of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to evolve the hospitality sector and create sustainable developments.
The Lake Como EDITION – Q1

The Lake Como Edition opened in preview in September and October 2025, ahead of its highly anticipated grand opening in March 2026. The brand has revitalised a hotel first built in 1830 with a refined design curated in collaboration with Neri&Hu and architects De.Tales. The property introduces elegant tastemakers and global travellers to a new vision of lakeside luxury – that pairs culinary excellence with a groundbreaking wellness spa offering cutting edge longevity and rejuvenation treatments. The luxury lifestyle destination features 148 guest rooms, including twenty-five suites, and two crown-jewel penthouses with nine guestrooms in the Villa Gina, along with multiple distinctive dining experiences under the culinary direction of acclaimed three-Michelin-starred and green-star chef Mauro Colagreco in his first Italian venture. Located on Lake Como’s western coast in the town of Cadenabbia, the hotel faces the stunning promontory of Bellagio across sparkling waters, where Mediterranean flora meets snow-capped peaks. The property will offer a lively lobby bar, floating pool, and several restaurants and bars with breath-taking views of the Bellagio hills.
W Sardinia – Poltu Quatu – Opening April 2026

W Sardinia – Poltu Quatu, W Hotel’s newest coastal escape will officially launch in April 2026. Located in the charming village of Poltu Quatu on Sardinia’s northeast coast, the luxury lifestyle destination, designed by multidisciplinary studio Meyer Davis, features 154 guestrooms and suites, with the majority of the top suites showcasing private terrace plunge pools. Immersive dining experiences include TANIT seafood restaurant overlooking the marina and W Lounge, both featuring a collaboration with renowned Pastry Chef Fabrizio Fiorani, who oversees also Dolce Room, an interactive space for dessert. Guests can also expect W Hotel’s iconic Wet Deck and Fit fitness centre, enriched for the 2026 summer season by the opening of an Away Spa. With always-on cultural programming, the hotel sets the stage for Sardinian artisans, chefs and performers to showcase their crafts, from mastering traditional pasta-making to guided hikes through the rugged landscape. W Sardinia – Poltu Quatu, the first W Hotel on the mediterranean island, showcases W Hotels’ expanding presence in Italy, joining W Rome and the newly opened W Florence.
The St Regis Budapest – Opening Q2

The St Regis Budapest will usher in a new era of sophistication along the iconic Danube river. With 102 rooms including 39 suites and two signature suites, The Klotild Tower and a two-bedroom Presidential Suite, the hotel marries classical elegance with modern, luminous finishes. A highlight will be the artisanal patisserie, where restored century-old furniture transports guests to a bygone era. Throughout the property, St Regis’s legendary rituals set the tone, from the chic St Regis Bar serving the property’s signature Bloody Mary, reimagined with a local twist, to the indulgent The St Regis Spa and an all-day dining restaurant that promises culinary excellence. Grand event spaces, including the stately Jacob Astor Boardroom and Elizabeth Room, will host both intimate gatherings and executive affairs.
Amoh, a Luxury Collection Resort, Rhodes – Opening Q2

Amoh, a Luxury Collection Resort, Rhodes, offers an oceanfront sanctuary where contemporary luxury meets the island’s rich heritage. Nestled on a secluded peninsula atop an ancient quarry, the resort honours Rhodes’ famed stone craftsmanship through a design that seamlessly blends local limestone with soft linens and earthy tones across 197 refined rooms and suites, many with private terraces, jacuzzis, or private pools. Culinary offerings pay homage to Mediterranean and global flavours across four distinctive restaurants and two bars, while immersive experiences, from ceramic workshops with local artisans to a journey of honey with the local bee museum and intimate dinners in hidden coves invite guests to explore Rhodes’ cultural tapestry. The 700m² spa channels ancient healing traditions with modern wellness therapies, set against the backdrop of sun-kissed shores and pristine private beaches. Amoh Rhodes promises a timeless escape, marrying natural beauty, historic legacy, and bespoke luxury traveller.
The St Regis London – Opening Mid-2026

The St Regis London will be Mayfair’s newest luxury destination, located at the corner of Conduit and New Bond Street. The hotel will offer 195 rooms, including 64 suites, with a 400sqm Penthouse Suite offering a private terrace. Interiors will reflect Mayfair’s tradition of craftsmanship and exclusivity through considered design, artisanal details and timeless style. Dining at The St Regis London will include a 90-seat signature restaurant, alongside the classic St Regis Bar, an intimate Library, and a private dining room for up to 18 guests. The property’s character will draw on the heritage of St Regis and the Astor family, most notably Lady Astor, inspiring elements such as St Regis Butler Service, Midnight Suppers and curated social events. Wellness will also be central to the experience, with two spa suites featuring plunge pools, saunas, personalised treatments and a fully equipped gym.
