Maya Hotel Courchevel 1850, a new boutique luxury hotel, is set to open its doors in the French Alps this December.

Designed to blend the opulence of Monaco with the simplicity and elegance of Japanese influences, Maya Hotel will be an exclusive retreat offering an ideal ski-in ski-out location, with an intimate and elevated experience.

The property brings together European craftsmanship and Japan-inspired minimalism in a harmonious fusion, where every detail has been meticulously curated to exude warmth and exclusivity.

With only 14 luxury rooms and suites, as well as the Lalique Suite and the Lalique Apartment, guests will experience the highest levels of comfort, privacy and personalised service.

The design and concept behind Maya Hotel Courchevel 1850 is a combination of different influences, employing a variety of earthy materials such as wood, stone, bronze and metal, to create a timeless and modern atmosphere.

The hotel will feature bespoke one-of-a-kind pieces by French luxury crystal house, Maison Lalique, as well as iconic Lalique creations throughout the hotel’s common areas, guestrooms, suites, the Lalique Master Suite and the Lalique Apartment, bringing a distinctive and refined style to the space.

Upon entering the lobby, guests will be greeted by a chandelier custom-created by Maison Lalique. Inspired by Japanese aesthetics and Courchevel’s alpine landscape, it features 39 gold-lustred crystal anemones, meticulously balanced to create a weightless spectacle that constantly changes throughout the day.

Each guestroom and suite features hand-selected materials that cultivate an intimate ambience.

Maya Hotel Courchevel will also introduce an innovative Maya Well treatments menu with the Japanese beauty care Forlle’d brand. Both the Lalique Master Suite and the Lalique Apartment will feature private treatment rooms, offering the full Maya Well Forlle’d menu along with personalised treatments upon request.

The F&B offering will comprise signature dining destination MayaBay Courchevel Restaurant, as well as a mixology bar offering an exclusive cocktail menu.

Uniquely positioned to offer access to Courchevel’s slopes, Maya Hotel can also be privatised to provide complete privacy.
