Nobu announces Ibiza hotel

London & Regional and MC Hotels has announced the 30 June opening of Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, a five-star resort designed as a playground for grown-ups.

Marking the latest addition to the Small Hotels of the World portfolio, the 152-key property is located on the shores of Talamanca Bay, and channels sophisticated fun through a blend of luxurious interiors and the vibrant locale. Featuring traditional Ibiza style guestrooms, two private seafront pools, four restaurants, and the island’s first Six Senses spa, Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay is situated just two kilometres the UNESCO world heritage site of Ibiza Town.

Inspired by the colours of the island, guestrooms are decorated with soft furnishings, natural wood, and artisan ceramics, set against a colour palette of white, gold and blue. Tasteful details, including mother-of-pearl inlay and hand-blown pendant lamps, are bathed in natural light by floor-to-ceiling windows that open to reveal wide terraces and views of the Mediterranean. Elsewhere, the expansive presidential and royal suites offer outdoor Jacuzzis, sprawling living spaces and a private bar.

“MC Hotels, the owners of Spain’s iconic Marbella Club and Puente Romano, and London & Regional, have set a vision to create Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay as a lifestyle beach resort in Ibiza, distinct from all other offerings on the island.” explains Trevor Horwell, Chief Executive of Nobu Hospitality. “Nobu’s global customers will be excited and passionate about this unique and fun luxury resort, which will become another destination on the growing map of Nobu Hotels and Restaurants.”

Four onsite restaurants include Nobu Matsuhisa, which serves up signature Japanese fusion dishes, Chambai, and café Celicioso for guests seeking healthy fare including juices and salads.

Offering indulgence and tranquillity in equal measure, each detail at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay has been designed with its guests’ comfort in mind.
