Renaissance Hotels – a luxury brand within Marriott International – has set an August 2020 opening date for Renaissance Milwaukee West, a 196-key hotel within the Mayfair Mall shopping and lifestyle district.

Expressing confidence that the hospitality industry will soon bonce back from the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, the announcement details a property in close proximity to downtown Milwaukee, and a design channeling the complex artistry of fashion tailors and seamstresses.

Set to incorporate a lobby bar, top floor event space and ballroom, Renaissance Milwaukee West will also host the independently-designed Eldr+Rime restaurant, with a menu focused on a fusion of New American cuisine and Scandinavian traditions. The design throughout the wider hotel will highlight structured, organic shaping, and a balance of masculine and feminine details, whilst furnishing will take cues from classical styling and with twist of warm, vibrant tones.
