W Singapore – Sentosa Cove will unveil its newly reimagined guestrooms and suites in October 2025, with the full collection of rooms to be ready by year’s end.

Here, the cadence of the everyday flows unencumbered—from languid wellness rituals to the island’s bursts of unfiltered energy through music and art.

The transformation – which follows a phased renewal of Skirt, the hotel’s signature open-fire restaurant; the Great Room and Studios meeting spaces; Away Spa; Wet Deck; and social spaces such as the Living Room and W Lounge – embodies the brand’s new ‘Luxury, Liberated’ ethos, which reflects a free-spirited vision of modern luxury where ‘Connectors’ of all ages can be as they are, and pursue what they want, whenever they want.

At the heart of the design lies Singapore’s duality, with cosmopolitan lines that nod to the city-state’s spirited history, while organic curves and verdant tones echo Sentosa’s flora and fauna. The marina’s deep blue drifts through the space, anchored by warm wooden wall panels and floors with plush carpets.

Every texture, colour and contour is chosen for how it channels the tropical microcosm of energy to create an atmosphere that is grounded and delicately surreal. All details of the refreshed guestrooms are intended to connect today’s modern traveller to the neighbouring marina cove’s charm and surrounding island views.

Super king or double queen beds are dressed in plush pillow-top mattresses and complemented by a pillow menu, and a vibrant coral-orange sofa, echoing the glow of Sentosa’s sunsets, offers a relaxed perch or transforms into an additional sleeping option, bringing flexibility without compromising style.

Bathrooms come with a choice of a rainforest shower or a separate bathtub, enhanced by MOMO bath amenities and indulgent robes, and guests can further indulge in the hotel’s wellness offerings at the rainforest-inspired Away Spa, which features a steam room, infrared sauna, vitality pool and experiential showers, as well as ice baths in the latter part of the year.

As part of its transformation, W Singapore is safeguarding its tropical microcosm by introducing various sustainability initiatives, including the introduction of in-room water filtration taps in guestrooms and in-house bottling in restaurants and event spaces, thus eradicating single-use plastics. To reduce reliance on non-renewable energy, the hotel has installed over 680 solar panels, projected to generate around 500,000 kWh of clean energy annually.

W Singapore – Sentosa Cove is also recognised by the Singapore Food Agency with the MidTier Farm-to-Table certification for its use of local produce, reducing the carbon miles of imported food, and a food-waste upcycling program transforms leftovers into fertilizer. Together, these initiatives have earned the resort its EarthCheck Silver certification.
